AYSO Section 1 is seeking a visionary, collaborative leader to serve as Section Director. As the chief executive volunteer for one of the organization’s most historic and active sections, you will shape the soccer experience for thousands of young athletes while upholding the Six Philosophies that define our community.

The Role

The Section Director is the primary liaison between the National Board of Directors and the local Areas and Regions. You will provide strategic oversight, administrative support, and inspiration to a dedicated staff of volunteers.

The nomination period for the position of Section 1 Director for the 3-year term beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2029 is open effective January 25, 2026, and nominations will be accepted through June 5, 2026.
